The manga has sold more than 50 million copies (including digital copies) worldwide. The movie was released last week in the US and earned more than US$2.8 million on the first day of the release. The movie is the highest-earning among all three My Hero Academia franchise anime movies in Japan with a total revenue of over 3.1 billion yen (over $28 million). It’s the third movie of My Hero Academia series following My Hero Academia: Two Heroes (2018) and My Hero Academia Heroes: Rising (2019). The movie will be available in its original language, Japanese with English and Arabic subtitles across theatres in the region.
